The Salit Foundation proudly presents the first concert in our Encore Concert Series, featuring the extraordinary talents of violinist Phillip Levy and pianist Tae Yeon Lim. Together, they bring a wealth of international experience and artistry to the stage, captivating audiences with performances filled with depth, precision, and passion.
Phillip Levy, hailed by the San Francisco Chronicle as "the top classical performer of 1995," has performed at prestigious festivals worldwide, including Spoleto, Bayreuth, Edinburgh, Tokyo, and Aspen. A recipient of numerous awards, he has collaborated with legends such as Sir Yehudi Menuhin, Iona Brown, Neville Marriner, and Lynn Harrell. A former concertmaster of the Monterey Symphony Orchestra and faculty member at Stanford University, he now leads the Capitol Ensemble in Los Angeles and has performed on over a thousand movie soundtracks, including Star Wars, E.T., Frozen, and Avatar.
