She soon gained recognition as a rising star, performing at the prestigious Chosun Journal Young Artist Debut Series at Sejong Arts Hall in Seoul and winning the Busan Duo-Piano Competition for her work as a collaborative pianist.
Lim’s training led her to the Manhattan School of Music, where she studied under the pioneering American pianist James Tocco, before earning her Doctor of Musical Arts degree from USC Thornton School of Music, mentored by Stewart Gordon. Her career has taken her across Asia, Europe, and the United States, with performances in Korea, China, Germany, Italy, and Austria, establishing her as an internationally acclaimed soloist, chamber musician, and conductor.
