Encore Concert Series: Doxa Quartet
The Doxa Quartet, based in Southern California, is part of the Honors program at the Colburn School’s Ed and Mari Edelman Chamber Music Institute under the guidance of Gina Coletti. The name “Doxa” is derived from the Greek word for “glory.” Unified under a shared passion for music, the quartet quickly developed close bonds, both musically and personally.
As an ensemble, they placed first and won the junior grand prize at the 2025 Coltman National Chamber Music competition in Austin, Texas. Their performance is set to be broadcast on KMFA 89.5 and they will be receiving a mentorship session with an Austin Chamber Music Center Artist. They have also participated in a masterclass with Eugene Drucker of the world-renowned Emerson Quartet.
