Doxa Quartet

The award-winning Doxa Quartet brings youthful brilliance, precision, and emotional depth to the Salit Foundation’s Encore Concert Series. Hailing from the Colburn School’s prestigious chamber program, these rising stars deliver a vibrant evening of artistry and connection as they share the stage with passion and purpose.

Doxa Quartet: A Rising Voice in Chamber Music

The Doxa Quartet, based in Southern California, is a young yet powerfully expressive ensemble making waves in the chamber music world. Under the mentorship of Gina Coletti at the Colburn School’s prestigious Ed and Mari Edelman Chamber Music Institute, the quartet has quickly distinguished itself through technical brilliance, cohesive ensemble playing, and heartfelt musical storytelling.

The group’s name, Doxa—from the Greek word for “glory”—encapsulates their shared artistic mission: to uplift and inspire through the transformative power of music. United not only by talent but by deep personal connection, the members of Doxa perform with a sense of joy, sensitivity, and polish far beyond their years.

Recent Accomplishments

The Doxa Quartet is the Junior Grand Prize winner of the 2025 Coltman National Chamber Music Competition, where their performance earned a broadcast feature on KMFA 89.5 and a mentorship session with an artist from the Austin Chamber Music Center. They’ve also been selected as quarterfinalists in the 52nd Annual Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, one of the most prestigious chamber competitions in the country.

Additionally, the ensemble has participated in masterclasses with Eugene Drucker of the legendary Emerson Quartet and performs regularly throughout California, inspiring audiences with their musical depth and sincerity.
